Concrete Sealing & Paver Sanding

Cleaning and Sealing your Concrete Driveway, Sidewalk, Patio or Commercial Concrete surface is an easy and inexpensive way to keep the area around your home or business looking its best. A high quality Penetrating Concrete Sealer can add 10 plus years of life to your Concrete.

Water is the main culprit for damage to Concrete because it Penetrates and expands during freezing periods. Water expands 9% in volume when it freezes, creating a force that is strong enough to break Concrete and cause flakes, pits, and cracks. Sealing Concrete limits the amount of water that the surface absorbs.

We use a penetrating sealer that protects against freeze / thaw damage, erosion, efflorescence, spalling and salt attack. It will seal without changing the sheen, texture or traction of the surface, leaving a completely natural appearance. Our sealer works 100% below the surface and can never flake, peel or chip like film-forming sealers.

We use a PERMANENT penetrating sealer

  • Permanent & Paintable – No Reapplication Needed. Resistant to Hydrostatic Water Pressure. Does Not Form a Surface Film. No Peeling or Fading. Leaves Surface Paintable. Great Primer for Epoxies, Tiles, Adhesives, and Overlay Flooring.

  • Penetrates Concrete (up to 4″) – Seals Concrete Internally. Blocks the Pores and Capillaries to Prevent Water Seepage, Water Vapor, and Radon Gas. Ideal For Use on Basement Floors, Interior Basement Walls, Foundation Walls, Slab-On-Grade, Indoor and Outdoor Poured Concrete Slabs, and Walls.

  • Hardens & Strengthens Concrete – Helps to Protect Against and Reduce Concrete Dusting, Efflorescence, Damage Caused by Salts, De-Icing Chemicals, and Freeze-Thaw. Does Not Trap Moisture.

  • EARTH-Friendly & Easy to Apply Formula – Zero VOCs, No Odors, No Solvents, Non-Toxic, Non-Flammable. Water-based.

We apply our PERMANENT penetrating sealer to the floor and both sides of the foundation for a complete waterproof solution. Helps Reduce Radon and Soil Gases

The seal it provides within the concrete can never wear away, delaminate, peel, or wear away. It is unable to be pushed out of the concrete, regardless of the amount of negative-side water pressure. The seal becomes integral to the concrete itself. No reapplication is ever required. It is like injecting more cement into your concrete.

Why does Tar Waterproofing fail?

tar Foundation_Dampproofing.jpg

Tar waterproofing membranes have no “give” and cracks eventually develop as the concrete constantly contracts and expands and the house settles. Similarly, tar paper or pargeting (a layer of mortar) on block walls is inelastic and will crack.

Concrete is “very strongly alkaline” (pH above 9). Water carries dissolved alkalis to its surface, where they attack any waterproofing coating by saponification (“alkali attack”) and even the concrete itself. Alkaline soils in some regions speed up this process and can “eat” away inches of concrete over several years.

All waterproofing coatings gradually break down or separate, even flexible elastomeric liquid membranes. Elastomeric sheet membranes separate as the alkalis attack the primer and taped joints and their service lives are guaranteed for only 5 to 10 years.

Paver Sand & Sealing

Sealing your pavers is an essential part of maintaining the beauty and integrity of your outdoor surfaces. Whether you have a patio, walkway, driveway, or pool deck made of pavers, sealing them can provide a number of benefits that will help protect your investment and enhance the overall appearance of your home.

  1. Protect against staining: Sealing your pavers will help protect them from stains caused by grease, BBQs, wine, and other spills. This can help maintain the appearance of your pavers and make them easier to clean.

  2. Prevent fading: Exposure to the sun and other elements can cause pavers to fade over time. Sealing your pavers can help prevent this fading, which can help maintain the overall aesthetic of your outdoor space.

  3. Decreased Drying Time: Properly sealed pavers do not allow water to absorb inside them. This significantly reduces drain time. Pavers that dry more quickly, are much less likely to support mold and algae growth or develop efflorescence.

  4. Increase durability: Sealing pavers can help protect them from damage caused by freeze-thaw cycles, salt, and other environmental factors. This can help extend their life and save you money on costly repairs or replacements.

  5. Increase resale value: Well-maintained pavers can add value to your home and make it more attractive to potential buyers. Sealing your pavers is one way to help ensure they are in good condition, which can increase the resale value of your home.
